Hamburg, November 28, 2011: arvato mobile, one of the global leading B2B providers in digital entertainment renames itself to Mondia Media and establishes itself as a global media brand. Along with the new name comes a strategic repositioning. To date the company has formed strong partnerships with mobile communications providers. Now, Mondia Media enhances its business by more strategic partnerships with global hardware manufacturers and technology providers enabling the company to access a broader client base.

Mondia Media’s roots go back to the establishment of handy.de Vertrieb GmbH in 1999. The company was later acquired by Bertelsmann and renamed to arvato mobile. In early 2009 arvato mobile was taken over by its former client Mondia Ltd and the Abu Dhabi Group. Today, Mondia Media has approximately 250 employees worldwide with offices in 9 cities, being Hamburg, London, Dubai, Rome, Madrid, Moscow, Mumbai, Johannesburg and São Paulo.
